Jury Verdict – Auto Accident

A jury awarded $1.7 million to our client who was a teenage passenger who suffered head and neck injuries in a one-car crash. Our client was in the front seat of a vehicle that crashed into a tree after the driver lost control in the rail. He sustained a fractured cervical spine and a traumatic brain injury. The defense attorneys argued that the injuries would heal and were not permanent in nature. Our firm was successful in persuading the jury that our client required a sizable award so he would be well protected for the rest of his life as we anticipate he will have ongoing medical expenses and possible issues affecting his ability to earn a good livelihood due to his brain injuries.
