This intersection has gotten safer over the past years – in 2007, it ranked No. 1 in the county with 195 accidents. By 2010, the intersection was second with 114 crashes.

This intersection is RIGHT OUTSIDE OF OUR OFFICE. Unfortunately, we see many accidents out of our windows every year. Just west of I-95, this intersection can get very congested with traffic – especially in the morning with nearby Atlantic High School and the large amount of traffic heading east on Atlantic to downtown Delray and south on Congress to the government center.

Glades Road shows up three times in the Top 10, led by this one in western Boca Raton. Each corner of the intersection has major shopping centers and there is a ton of traffic flowing through this intersection every day. Many drivers try to beat a yellow/red traffic light so PLEASE WATCH OUT!!!

A few miles west of I-95 and about 5 miles east of Florida’s Turnpike which produces a ton of traffic on Glades Road – especially westbound during 5 o’clock traffic. Also, at the corner of this intersection is the Town Center Mall which adds a tremendous amount of traffic flowing through this intersection.

Only one intersection in Wellington makes the county’s 80 most dangerous. But it’s a bad one. The Wellington shopping mall and Wellington Regional Medical Center are located at this intersection. There is an incredible amount of lanes driving north/south on 441 and east/west on Forest Hill. The traffic and congestion has increased significantly in the area.

This intersection is tricky due to Boca Raton High School, Florida Atlantic University, shopping center and proximity to the Glades Road/I-95 interchange. This area is terribly congested especially during morning and evening rush hour.
