One Injured as Car Flips Over in Boca Raton Crash

According to reports of the accident, two cars were involved in a crash by Yamato Road and Route 441 just before 9:30 P.M. on Wednesday night; the result, of course, was that one of the cars flipped over, landing on its roof, entirely upside down. This is a clear example of the dangers that one can experience when behind the wheel of a vehicle.

Whether this crash was the result of a DUI, reckless driving, or a distracted driver, the result was the same: a flipped car and an injured occupant. It’s important to note that while the individual in the flipped vehicle was treated for physical injuries, those aren’t the only types of injuries that person will be dealing with; it’s safe to say that, after having gone through the horrific experience of being in a car that flips over, the injured individual will surely be hesitant to get into another motor vehicle for fear of another horrible accident.

Seeing an overturned motor vehicle in the middle of the road can be shocking, and it may make you wonder how the car got to be in such a position. What happened to cause this? Let’s say this tragic accident was a hit and run – if the police wind up locating the individual who caused the accident and then fled the scene, what then? It’s highly probably that the individual would face criminal charges related to the hit and run accident, but that wouldn’t eliminate the possibility of the person being hit with a personal injury claim arising from the accident he or she caused. Even if someone is already being charged with having committed a criminal act, if the criminal act (such as causing an accident and then fleeing the scene of such accident) resulted in the injury of another, regardless of whether or not the accident was caused by recklessness, distracted driving or, say, a DUI, the injured party can – and should – make a claim against the liable individual.
