Jesse L. Young

Attorney

As a litigation and pre-suit associate attorney, I handle a wide array of personal injury matters in all stages of a case. If you have been injured in an accident, I take satisfaction in providing stellar representation for all of my Clients to ensure the best possible outcome.

Prior to joining Aronberg & Aronberg Law, I worked as an assistant public defender at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office for 3 years. During my tenure there, I gained invaluable experience as a litigator and a passion for zealous courtroom advocacy. I’ve represented hundreds of people accused of crimes ranging from juvenile matters to felonies, at all stages of the criminal justice system. I honed my skills as a litigator by trying dozens of bench and jury trials, litigating procedural and substantive motions daily, and conducting hands-on investigation of my cases. It is always my goal that my Clients take comfort in knowing they have a seasoned attorney fighting for their cause.

After leaving the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office, I took my talents to the civil realm where I worked as a trial attorney for a national insurance corporation. While working there, I learned the inner workings of the insurance industry. I bring that knowledge to the table for my Clients in their fight for justice.

I always knew that I wanted to be a lawyer and set my sights on that goal very early in life. During high school, I played soccer and I also participated on the high school mock trial team. I tried my first mock jury trial at the age of 16. After graduating, I moved from my small hometown to attend Northern Kentucky University. During college, I simultaneously worked a part-time job, interned at various law firms, and was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law fraternity. As a member of Phi Alpha Delta, I joined its mock trial team where I was chosen to compete in a national mock trial competition in Washington D.C. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a minor in pre-law.

I then received a merit scholarship to attend St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida. While in law school I received many accolades such as the pro bono commendation, book award in Florida Constitutional Law and Legal Writing, and the best student award in Legal Writing. I was also an active member of the St. Thomas Trial team where I competed in multiple mock trial competitions.

On a personal note: I enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews, snowboarding, and relaxing at the beach.
