At the Law Offices of Aronberg & Aronberg, we pride ourselves on being a small, family-operated law firm that puts client service ahead of everything else. Indeed, one of the key differences between our firm and those large personal injury law “factories” is that we’ve intentionally remained small as to maintain our close-knit atmosphere. Likewise, we deliberately limit the number of cases we take on in order to ensure that the clients we do sign up get the care and attention they need and deserve.
Our Delray Beach personal injury lawyers feel our clients and prospective clients should know exactly who will and would be representing them and handling their case; that’s why we’re starting a new type of blog, in which we will highlight members of our attorney team and staff so that readers can “get to know” who we are!
In this edition, we sat down with Aronberg & Aronberg (our newest attorney addition to the Delray Beach personal injury legal team at Aronberg & Aronberg) and asked him some “get to know you” questions.
AronbergLaw Blog: Seth, what made you want to practice law?
SG: There was no defining moment in my life that I recall “choosing” to be an attorney. My teachers, parents and friends all told me I was destined to become an attorney. Really, it just happened. It was part of the natural progression of my life. I’m glad I followed through with it because I love my work.
After graduating law school I accepted my first job as an Assistant State Attorney prosecuting crime in Palm Beach County, Florida. One evening, I was at my father’s house and he took out an old, somewhat beat-up, colorful paper plate out of a manila envelope and gave it to me. The paper plate read “This Award Goes To Aronberg & Aronberg For The Camper Most Likely To Become A State Attorney.” I have no memory of receiving the Paper Plate Award but was told I brought it home from camp one day when I was five years old. The Paper Plate Award now hangs in my office.
AronbergLaw Blog: Why do you like practicing personal injury law?
SG: I find stories about people and their life experiences enjoyable. I also have a strong interest in medicine. Personal Injury is the perfect match because it incorporates studying people, their accident and how the accident will affect their body.
AronbergLaw Blog: What’s your favorite thing about working at Aronberg & Aronberg?
SG: I enjoy being part of a law firm where I am able to spend a significant amount of time with all of our clients. At Aronberg & Aronberg, we closely monitor the number of cases we undertake so our clients get the time and attention they deserve. I am able to learn my client’s stories, meet their families, their doctors and visit accident scenes. It’s fun to develop creative theories of liability and think “outside of the box” to prove our cases as opposed to working from templates. The final results we obtain for our clients make all of the hard work put in to the case much more satisfying for me.
AronbergLaw Blog: Lastly, Seth, what do you like to do on your time off?
SG: I play pickup basketball every Thursday evening at Woodlands Park or Patch Reef Park in Boca Raton. On Sunday mornings, I like to read the newspaper at Starbucks with my soon-to-be wife, Deborah. Feel free to say “hello” if you see me around!
