Class Action vs. Costco – Thousands Affected
Our firm filed a Class Action lawsuit against Costco Wholesale on behalf of potentially thousands of consumers. Our clients have alleged that Costco violated Florida’s Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act by throwing out the Patient Instruction Guides that are required to be provided to contact lens wearers. By throwing out the Instruction Guides which also contain patient warnings, Costco is potentially risking its contact lens purchasers serious eye injuries.
Our goal in the Class Action is to stop Costco from this dangerous practice and provide compensation to the consumers who were not provided the Instruction Guides.
The action has been settled.
